Since I picked up my Camera I have strived to take different pictures from the norm and at the same time try to achieve a story behind the image. Living in Scotland I am surrounded by beautiful scenery that is sometimes taken for granted or even missed entirely. When I went out with my camera I could see things I would usually miss and this made it a challenge for myself. However, there were times

where I was just in the right place at the right time. In my sports section you will see a collection of shots taken with an American Football team I play for. After suffering an injury I was watching the games from the bench and so decided to take my camera along. Given that I knew the plays I could set up the shot before it happened, leading to some good in action shots. I also like to photograph what you see everyday but perhaps have never noticed. I approach my work with a unique perspective that takes into account your needs and your individual style. My style and technique are broad and flexible. Working with people is great, sometimes the best shot comes from when they dont know its being taken, you get a sense of real life instead of being posed or told to perform an action. I have met some great characters so far in my journey of photography. There back story shaping how I perceive their picture and in turn the end result.

Holiday mode over!

Back to work!

I took the full summer off to be with the kids and we sorely needed it and we are now back at it.
Kids at school and back to work!

The Ultimate Highland Frame.
Every so often, a moment behind the lens just falls perfectly into place. I captured this shot today just outside Fort Augustus, and it feels like the absolute definition of quintessentially Scottish.
In the foreground, a magnificent Highland coo stands grounded in the vibrant summer grass. In the background, the striking architecture of a classic pink baronial estate rises against the rolling hills of the Great Glen.
This landscape is steeped in deep history, this very region served as a crucial strategic corridor during the Jacobite Risings, guarded by historic fortifications and General Wade’s military roads. Today, the turbulent past gives way to pure, serene Highland magic.
You couldn't orchestrate a more flawless pairing of Scotland's greatest icons if you tried.

Arrived at The Highland Club with Finlay Wilson for our stay over the weekend.
This place is an absolute fairy tale, our apartment has turrets, winding staircases, amazing views and a rooftop terrace with an Igloo!

Now we just need the weather to keep in line over the weekend to capture as much as we can while we are here.

Some amazing sights to be had in Fort Augustus and the Abbey is a slice of history you get to stay in and enjoy!

Its great to be welcomed back by the team at The Highland Club!

After a very busy easter and the weeks thereafter we will be getting some albums completed and sent out today!

Have a few camera lenses for sale, all canon ef mount.

Sigma 17-35 aspherical lens (wide)

Canon 16-35 f2.8 L series wide lens

Canon 70-200 f4 L series lens.

Looking for £350 for the lot. Brilliant lenses, all have front and rear caps, good condition, working order. Used by me over the years.

Using different combinations when working so these are not getting used by me.

Just finished the 12 week Client photoshoot with .
Fast paced, different exercises, controlled and specific to each client. Taking them through poses and even convincing them to be in some funny videos!

Great to see so many people smashing this milestone and taking the leap to come and be photographed by me.

Once I am back I will get all the images onto the computer.

Thanks again to Jen and Claire for having me and looking forward to the next one already!
