When Kat and Gareth met me at their pre-wedding meeting, we talked about what was most important for them. Kat told me how much she loved the venue Stirk House and how she loved this giant old tree in the grounds which lit up at night with fairy lights. So knowing how much this meant to her, I had it in my mind that I needed to get an extra special photo of her at this location.
While Kat partied, me and my glamorous assistant James went out just before sunset to set up my lights. We then got Kat and Gareth to come out just as the sun was setting. We got a few nice portrait shots around the grounds, finishing with this one with the last of the light. I really hoped to capture something special for them both and thankfully they are both thrilled with this shot. What do you think?
