Thrash titans Anthrax have announced their long-awaited 12th studio album, 'Cursum Perficio'.

Released on Friday 18th September 2026 via Nuclear Blast, 'Cursum Perficio' arrives 10 years and 7 months after Anthrax's last album 'For All Kings', the longest gap between two albums in Anthrax's storied career.

'Cursum Perficio', which loosely translates to 'I will persevere / I will finish my journey' from Latin, was produced by Jay Ruston, who also helmed 2016’s 'For All Kings' and 2011's 'Worship Music'.

Mixing sessions and some recording sessions for 'Cursum Perficio' took place at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Northridge, California.

The first single from Anthrax’s new album is called 'It's for the Kids', and it will premiere this Friday alongside a music video filmed last December.
