🏊 We're investing £150,000 to safeguard and prepare Kirkham Baths for its next chapter.

Following last week's Full Council meeting, we have approved essential works to protect Kirkham Baths. Warden Construction Ltd will begin vital preservation work in early 2026, including structural surveys and safety measures.

This is a crucial step in bringing swimming back to rural Fylde. We're exploring partnership opportunities with central government and Lancashire County Council, while ensuring the building is protected from further deterioration.

There's lots of other local history not shown, but I was following the narrative from the Ai transcript
