A Love Without Borders: Magda & Leigh’s Valentine’s Wedding
Love wasn’t just in the air last weekend—it was the guest of honor. I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the wedding of Magda and Leigh Ross at the DoubleTree by Hilton North Queensferry, and it was a day to remember.
After what felt like an eternity of grey skies, the weather gods finally took the hint. We were blessed with the first dry, sunny day for what felt like months, which was just as well because we had some world-famous scenery to capture.
The highlight of the location was, without a doubt, the stunning backdrop of the Forth Bridges. With the sun finally glistening off the water, the architectural beauty of the bridges provided a dramatic, timeless setting for Magda and Leigh’s portraits. It’s not every day you get a UNESCO World Heritage site as your photo booth!
Beyond the views, the day was a vibrant blend of Scottish and Polish cultures (Vodka AND Whisky!). From the heartfelt exchange of vows to the joyful celebration, the atmosphere was wonderful from start to finish.
