First batch of Kelso Rugby Football Club Harlequins 7s. A great day, well supported and some excellent rugby. I haven't had a chance to do much of an edit so if you would like a photo please get in contact and I will smarten it up!

Not the best sign off to the league season for Kelso Rugby Football Club but a great performance in the last 20 minutes.

Kelso Rugby Football Club were excellent again in their 31-12 win against Glasgow Hawks - apologies for the slow photos, turns out not only have I forgotten how to use my camera, I have also forgotten how to use Lightroom.

A little thank you package from Freddie at Oak & Black and The Silver Fox Coach for doing some photos at the Jed Camp. Freddie was my design teacher at school (and rugby coach) and without doubt inspired a lot of the creative stuff I do now. It’s great to see both brands doing so well - I’m always excited to see the next Oak and Black product roll out of the workshop. Sliver Fox Coaching is truly next level though - the level of coaching those kids are getting at such a young age is fantastic. The drills are so specific and it’s almost like watching NFL coaching. The kids absolutely loved it too. What struck me most was how excited and proud Freddie is when he talks about his businesses, rightfully he should be but sometimes it feels like you aren’t allowed to be proud of yourself in the pursuit of perfection but actually I think sometimes it is good to evaluate what you are doing right. Also a display of compassion knowing I would need to keep my poor balding head warm for the rest of the rugby season!!

After a long thought about how I could be more boring and tedious, it suddenly dawned on me. Macro photography! Generally speaking these photos are stacks of over 100 photos and they were a pain in the backside to do.

Kelso Rugby Football Club 34- 26 win vs Currie. Massive win, massive performance. Can't think of a single player who wasn't brilliant today but once again Will Jones, Bruce McNeil and William Tweedie were fantastic. 2 sets of photos this week because I want to.

Northern Lights the other night.

I have tried to remove some of the silliness of this - people who see it crow about it but it's often not as exciting as people let on.

These are the same photo -

1) Is how I could see it with my eyes (edited to look how it looked)
2) Is how my camera saw it - it is a 13 second exposure with quite high ISO
3) Is a somewhat edited version - I didn't want to be silly with it.

It was quite nice because it was at about 8:30 so I could show my old man what he was actually looking for in the sky with what the camera as seeing. It was the first time he has knowingly seen them.
