Gold award and Judges Choice winner for February, Composite Creation by Gina Rayment. This image has such a beautiful sense of atmosphere, it feels calm, cinematic, and full of quiet story telling. The movement of the horse, the wind in the hair, and the soft tones all work together to create something that draws you in and holds you there.
What we especially love is the blend of strong in camera craft with fine art finishing. You can see the foundations are solid, then the added artistry simply elevates the mood rather than taking over. It is a brilliant example of how a photographer can keep an image feeling real and believable, while still bringing in that extra layer of creative polish. Very well deserved, congratulations Gina.
