Intimate weddings really have become the new normal—and honestly, it’s been incredible to witness how celebrations have evolved.

Over the past 10+ years in this industry, I’ve seen trends come and go. Big, lavish days. Rustic everything. Festival vibes. Then the shift… smaller guest lists, more meaning, more intention. And now, especially with Gen Z couples leading the way, it’s less about putting on a show and more about creating something that actually feels like you.

There’s something so special about these smaller ceremonies. The quiet moments. The real connections. The freedom to do things differently.

Can we just take a minute though to give a quick look at Polly. Every shoot is different, everyone who comes in has a unique style and brief and I think we nailed this one. Edgy, but still timeless. You just know it’s Polly’s style woven into the shoot. Thank you for letting me loose lass 📷📷📷

Wow when I started this whole ‘pivot’ from weddings to commercial and personal branding I never knew just how much love I would have for it. At first I found it super difficult to start again. Learning a whole new approach to my shooting style… will remember how nervous I was shooting with them all… I’m a creature of habit and shooting weddings became just that for me. I knew what came next, in fact o think I ran the wedding a lot of the time (sorry everyone I was a little scary) but the brides will know, without the structure of timing everything falls apart… and that’s always been my main priority. The client…

So back to now. I’ve literally had some amazing people and conversations in the studio lately. And I can’t wait to share what’s been happening. I just don’t have the time to post it all now 😂 ❤️
