Sadly, we are now permanently closed. COVID was a big blow, and then we lost the premises to wealthy property developers. The Creative and Cultural Organisation still continues in a smaller way as a community of artists and facilitators, but exhibiting in other people's venues, like the Central Library. We suggest you go to Lomography's excellent online shop for your photo needs.

📣 OPEN CALL ALERT! 📣 Redeye - The Photography Network are teaming up with HIP Gallery (Hull Independent Photography Gallery) and The Creative and Cultural Organisation to bring the Hot House Talks to Humber Eco Fest

♻️ Do you have a photography project relating to sustainability that you would like to share?

📸 Perhaps one that visually documents the changing landscape of our environment or maybe you employ a practice which embraces environmentally sustainable techniques?

💻We are looking for photographers who can give short, ten-minute presentations about their work for our Hothouse event in Hull's Jubilee Centre for Humber Eco Fest, this November. We are accepting all types of applications exploring the theme. If you have a project or body of work you would like to talk about, whether it’s complete or a work in progress, we would love to hear from you.

EXCITING NEWS!!

AN ONLINE ADVANCED SALE OF MARILYN STAFORDS BOOK OF PHOTOGRAPHS WAS LAUNCHED TODAY!!

It's called ''MARILYN STAFFORD, A LIFE IN PHOTOGRAPHY''.

Marilyn had her big exhibition at HIPfest our fantastic Hull Independent Photography Festival and many of those works are immortalised in this fantastic book.
