2026, what a year you’ve been so far!

We paused today and had a little flick through our galleries from this year so far and are sat here with the biggest smiles on our faces. Thanks to everyone that has had us along to be a little part of your wedding days, we’ve loved travelling about to some new venues to us and also some familiar favourites that we’ve been to a few times this year.

Those that know us well know that we are not social media people and this stuff doesn’t come naturally, but it seemed like a good time to share a few moments from the year so far, not in any particular order, just snaps that make us happy!

We will share these days in a little more detail but for now we hope these moments brighten up your day as much as they have ours.

We have a mega weekend at the Beverley Barn ahead of us, we cannot wait for tomorrows wedding and then also get to hang out with a bunch of other local suppliers at the Barn for their wedding open day on Sunday (12-3pm)

It feels like the perfect opportunity to look back at Sarah and Matt’s wedding day from last year, we loved how chilled this day was and how moments were allowed to breathe, gently building to an epic party on the night!

Another reason we loved this day was getting to meet Jeff, the happiest and most excitable little guy who came along to see his humans get married, Carla from .wedding.buddy making sure he enjoyed every minute of his day!

We loved every minute of this day, thank you so much for having us!

What stood out most about Emily & Louis’ wedding at Woolas Barn was how wholeheartedly they embraced the day. No trends, no expectations, just pure joy, shared with people they love, in a place that suited them perfectly.

The morning set the tone, with a calm, unhurried start as Emily got ready with her family, plenty of time to be together and enjoy the moment. From there, the ceremony flowed straight into a relaxed drinks reception, guests filling the barns and outdoor spaces with conversation, laughter and life.

Just before the evening began, we stole a few quiet minutes in the orchard as the light dropped, just a chance for Emily & Louis to have a moment together before the party, which turned out to be an incredible night!

Emily’s parents and their band had the very special job of playing the first dance, then launched into a high-energy set which set the bar very high for Sonic Kicks who followed keeping the dance floor full and the energy high right through the night.

Woolas was the perfect backdrop for a day like this, warm, relaxed and effortlessly welcoming. Huge thanks to James and the team for making us feel so at home.

Emily & Louis, thank you for having us. We loved every second! 🤗

Seeing photos we’ve taken printed in magazines is always pretty cool, there are some really high profile magazines and publications out there and when Connor and Gabriella messaged to say one of their wedding photos would be printed in a magazine that has a big print number and goes out to thousands of people we were pretty excited, we were very proud to see their photo in the Leeds United match day programme! (Photo 9 on this post)

We’d met up with Connor and Gabriella for a pre-wedding shoot, we loved getting to know them and hearing more of their back story and also plans for their wedding and future together. Food was spoken about a fair bit, Gabriella introducing Connor to exotic ingredients such as garlic!

Catching up with them again on their wedding day was really special for us, this time we also got to meet their families too who were all incredibly welcoming to us all day. It was a beautifully sunny day at Kelham House which meant everyone could enjoy the big open spaces, catch up with family, play games and take the day at their own pace.

Beer pong was a fun addition to the day and got plenty of use during the day and into the night, the more naturally gifted pong players were all well below the drinking age but were valuable team members even if they did have to skip the beer and hand it to the adults.

Something we really enjoy is hearing your early wedding plans, what makes you YOU and then seeing how everything comes together for a wedding day that is truly yours.

In early conversations with Victoria and Joe we spoke about nods to a Hobbit theme, lots of DIY elements and a day built around the couples strong friendship groups fondly referred to as the fellowship. The day was exactly this and much more.

Their wedding day had a beautiful festival feel to it with the full day out in the sunshine, thankfully we packed the sun cream as it really was a hot one! It was a day of firsts for us too, we witnessed our very first potato painting competition and the following medal ceremony, Chris also got to drive a golf buggy for the first time, which was not only fantastic fun it was also a fab way to explore the venue and get some extra portraits.

Social media seems to be full of Ai generated stuff at the moment so it feels right to take a moment to appreciate the genuine, handmade touches that were lovingly crafted for this day, one of the standout elements was Victorias veil which she painted herself!

The heart of the day was the people, we are very grateful to have met you all and to be able to spend a day documenting so many wonderful memories for you.

Dave and Pippa’s wedding last Summer was our first time visiting Hackness Grange and our first opportunity to see their outdoor ceremony spot which is uniquely placed on its own little island.

The “hole” thing started with a round of mini-golf for these two, so it was only right that they had a mini-golf course set up on the lawn for everyone to enjoy throughout their wedding day. Music was also a big part of the day with a seriously good playlist during the day, always great to hear a bit of Foo Fighters and we have to shoutout Andrew Lingard who incorporated a few acoustic covers into his set which were pure class!

We had a great time jumping into this day, getting to know everyone and sharing the day with you all. Thanks for welcoming us into the day and for literally picking Chris up when he was down (the final photo is the exact moment he fell down the grass bank).

Looking back on this day and also getting out to chat to people at wedding fayres recently has got us looking ahead to the year in front of us, new people, new places and a few familiar ones too, we can’t wait to kick things off in a few weeks which just so happens to be another trip to Hackness!

10000000000/10 cannot recommend this dream team enough! We can honestly saying having Chris and Rachel capture our big day was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Not only is their work fantastic, but the energy, warmth and care they bring to every step of the process made us feel like we were with old friends. From the engagement shoot, to the pre-wedding questionnaire, to the sneak peeks the day after (!!) our wedding, they are simply THE best. They listen, they care and they deliver. If you want two extra people in your corner on your big day - who know the drill, want you to have the best day ever, are absurdly talented AND beyond lovely - run, don’t walk, to book Chris and Rachel.

Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts for your hard work, we can’t imagine our day without you!

With two families coming together from across the world, Coli and Niall’s wedding day at White Skye Fields was one big heartfelt celebration, full of laughter, happy tears, tight hugs and a beautiful energy you get when everyone you love is in the same place.

Being part of days like this when we’re welcomed in, trusted completely and get to capture memories that truly matter, is why we love to do what we do.

Coli and Niall, thank you for letting us be right there with you, soaking it all in and telling your story as it unfolded.

A special mention for Joe from it was a pleasure working with you on this day!

Thank you so much to Aramis and Melissa for their wonderful testimonial, this was our first wedding of the year in 2025 and just the perfect start to the year for us!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rachel and Chris ensured that we had an amazing day taking photos from the morning to the evening. It was a smooth transition with them being a great asset in coordinating the day by them helping to keep everything on schedule and ensuring guests were where they needed to be.

The pre wedding shoot was a great idea to ensure we were comfortable in front of the camera. We picked one of our favourite places and had a wonderful day sharing it with them both.

On the day Rachel and Chris met us in the morning and took photos of us getting ready. Chris was very helpful in assisting and advising the best placement for the boutonnière. They ensured all of the photos we wanted were taken throughout the day and evening and nothing was too much trouble for them. Every moment spent with Rachel and Chris felt natural, relaxed and easy. They have an incredible eye for great photographs and we loved every one that we received from them.

It was a pleasure to share the day with Rachel and Chris and we could not think of how it could be improved upon. It was truly a wonderful day and they ensured we had the best experience, not just with photography but the entire day.

“Instead of confetti we’re thinking beach balls!”

We haven’t posted in a little while so thought we’d kick the year off with a blast of sunshine from Paula and Ella’s wedding day at Scarborough Spa in the Summer.

There are many highlights from this day but if we were pushed for a top 3 it would have to be the idea to swap confetti for beach balls, witnessing cocktails being poured on a moving bus while we had a hot lap of Scarborough and ending the night dancing under the stars with an open air set by Soul Soup.

A day of pure joy with the most wonderful bunch of people.
