Jodie and Nathan’s pre-wedding shoot was a great opportunity for us to get to know each other before their big day.
Most couples book me well in advance, often more than a year before their wedding. One thing I always recommend is a pre-wedding shoot. I believe that when you feel relaxed on your wedding day, your photos will look much more natural and authentic.
Some couples book their photographer and then don’t see them again until the wedding itself. I find that building a relationship beforehand through a pre-wedding shoot is a fantastic way to create a good rapport and help everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera.
The most beautiful photographs are often the natural, unposed moments, and feeling at ease plays a big part in achieving that. As an added bonus, a pre-wedding shoot gives you a collection of special photos together before you officially become husband and wife – your last photos as an engaged couple.
