🌈🦅🌅 SOMETIMES NATURE JUST THROWS EVERYTHING AT YOU AT ONCE… 😍

What an absolutely INCREDIBLE evening in the Norfolk countryside!

A glowing sunset, huge dramatic storm clouds, a beautiful rainbow stretching across the sky… and to top it all off, Red Kites soaring through the middle of it all. 🦅❤️

You honestly couldn’t have planned a scene like this.

The light was constantly changing as the storm rolled through, with bursts of golden sunlight breaking beneath those dark clouds and the rainbow appearing in the distance.

And then the Red Kites arrived… 😍

Moments like this are exactly why I love being out with the drone. You can spend hours waiting for something special, and every now and then nature gives you absolutely everything in one shot.

🦅🎥 THIS IS A SHOT I’VE BEEN TRYING TO CAPTURE FOR A LONG TIME… AND FINALLY, IT HAPPENED! 😍

Sometimes wildlife photography is about being in the right place at the right time… but more often than not, it’s about patience, persistence and waiting for everything to come together.

This stunning Kestrel certainly made me work for this one! 😂

I’ve had this particular shot in my head for a long time, and after plenty of attempts, waiting and watching, I finally managed to capture the moment I’d been hoping for.

There’s something incredible about Kestrels — their ability to hold almost perfectly still in the air while scanning the ground below, before suddenly dropping towards their prey, never gets old.

And when you finally capture a shot you’ve imagined for so long… it makes every minute spent waiting completely worth it. ❤️

Definitely one of those moments where I came away thinking…

“YES! I finally got it!” 🙌🦅

Hope you enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed capturing it! ❤️

🦌🌅 I WENT BACK TO FIND MY “3¾-LEGGED” FRIEND… AND WOW, HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! 😍

After capturing this incredible Fallow Deer recently, I couldn’t resist heading back out to see if I could find him again.

And then this happened… ❤️

There he was, standing proudly on the heath with one of the most spectacular sunsets behind him — almost as if he’d deliberately picked the perfect spot for me! 📸🔥

Despite the injury to his leg, he certainly doesn’t seem to have lost his spirit. Seeing him out there again, looking alert, strong and completely at home in his surroundings was absolutely brilliant.

There’s something about this particular deer that’s really captured my attention. I think my 3¾-legged friend might be becoming a bit of a regular feature! 😂🦌

And with a backdrop like this… what an incredible encounter. ❤️🌅

🦌❤️ WHAT AN ABSOLUTE BEAUTY!

I had the pleasure of capturing this stunning “3¾-legged” Fallow Deer — and what a magnificent animal he is. 😍

Despite clearly having suffered a serious injury to one of his legs, he appears to have adapted remarkably well, moving around and carrying on with life in the wild.

And just look at him… that beautiful spotted coat, elegant stance and those antlers developing above his head. 🦌🌿

Wildlife never ceases to amaze me. Animals can show an incredible ability to adapt to the challenges nature throws at them, and this handsome chap was certainly a memorable encounter.

A real survivor — and an absolute privilege to capture on camera. ❤️

Nature isn’t always perfect… but sometimes its imperfections make an animal even more remarkable.

🦅 MAJESTIC IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD! 😍

A stunning Common Buzzard gliding effortlessly through the Norfolk skies.

There’s something incredible about watching these birds in flight. Those huge broad wings, beautifully patterned plumage and that unmistakable silhouette as it circles above, constantly scanning the ground below.

It might be one of our more familiar birds of prey, but when you get a view like this, “common” certainly doesn’t mean ordinary. ❤️

Another beautiful encounter with British wildlife — and one I could happily watch all day! 📸🦅

💜🌿 DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THIS IS? 👀

A little Friday morning challenge for you…

I captured this incredible view from above, and I absolutely love the patchwork of colour across the landscape. 💜❤️💚

The purple heather, deep rusty reds and pockets of vivid green look almost like someone has painted the ground — with that winding track cutting straight through the middle.

But the question is…

📍 DO YOU KNOW WHERE THIS IS?

No clues from me just yet! 😏

Drop your guesses in the comments below 👇 — let’s see who recognises it first!

🔥🌅 THE SKY OVER KING’S LYNN WAS ON FIRE TONIGHT!! 🔥🌅

What an absolutely INCREDIBLE sunset over King’s Lynn this evening! 😍

For a few magical minutes, the whole horizon just exploded into colour — fiery reds, deep oranges and golden light, all sitting beneath those huge, dramatic storm clouds. ❤️‍🔥

From up above, the contrast was absolutely spectacular… the peaceful Norfolk countryside below while the sky looked like it was literally burning above it! 🔥

Sometimes you launch the drone hoping for a decent sunset… and then nature puts on a show like THIS. 🤯📸

Definitely one of those evenings where you just stop and appreciate how beautiful Norfolk can be. ❤️

🪶 WHAT A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE HUNTER! 😍

An absolutely stunning Kestrel taking a moment high above the Norfolk countryside — and what a privilege it was to spend some time watching and filming it. ❤️

There’s something captivating about these birds. That unmistakable plumage, those incredible eyes and the constant awareness of everything happening around them.

One moment it’s sitting perfectly still, surveying the landscape… the next it’s completely focused, checking its talons before once again watching the world below. 🦅

Kestrels may be one of our smaller birds of prey, but they have an incredible presence — and seeing one this beautifully from such a perspective never gets old.

🦅 CAUGHT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A PLUMAGE CHANGE! ❤️

What an absolutely stunning Red Kite — and today’s reel gives a brilliant look at something we don’t always get to see quite this clearly.

This bird is changing its plumage as it matures, and you can really see the mixture of colours and feather patterns across its wings and body. 😍

Young Red Kites start life with a noticeably different appearance to mature adults. Their plumage tends to be more mottled and streaked, with paler feather edges and a less uniform overall colour. As they grow, those juvenile feathers are gradually replaced through successive moults.

With each change, the classic adult features become more pronounced — richer rusty-red tones, stronger contrast through the wings, a paler head and that unmistakable red tail.

And it doesn’t all happen at once. Feathers are replaced progressively, particularly the large flight feathers, so for a while a kite can carry a fascinating mixture of older and newer feathers. That’s exactly what makes birds at this stage so interesting to watch.

You can see it beautifully in this reel — different generations of feathers sitting alongside one another while this magnificent bird continues its transformation. 🪶

Nature is incredible when you get close enough to notice the little details. ❤️🦅

🦅 WHAT A STUNNING RED KITE! ❤️

Just look at the detail as this beauty sweeps past the camera — but what really caught my eye is its changing plumage.

At this time of year, Red Kites can be going through their annual moult, gradually replacing worn feathers with fresh ones. You can really see the mixture of tones and feather condition across the wings and body here, giving it that slightly patchwork appearance while the new plumage develops.

And despite the moult, it certainly doesn’t affect the elegance — that unmistakable rusty-red tail, huge wings and effortless control in the air are absolutely incredible to watch. 😍

Being able to capture these birds closely enough to see details like this, while remaining at a respectful distance, is one of the things I love most about filming wildlife.
