Back at one of my favourite venues, the stunning Comrie Croftt for a wedding like no other… trust me on that one! Sheila & Dani planned their day around having fun with the thought of, let’s just be kids! Tattoo’s cocktail competitions, bouquet rugby, what didn’t this wedding have! Claire the Humanist brought their story to life in an awesome ceremony that had everyone down a wee Jaeger too! Neil Thomas Douglas myself and Gary from Knoxland Films wondered around the forest for a bit catching dreamy vibes before the place went bananas on the dance floor!��Belter!

Dani & Evan flew their family and friends over from America after to celebrate their wedding at Carlowrie Castle outside Edinburgh. With the help of Scarlett & Bell wedding planners, they put together an awesome party for everyone who had travelled across the Atlantic! Who do we have on the line up? How does all this sound?

SCOTLANDS BEST WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER 2023!

I was waiting for Confetti to post the pictures up of the awards last week before sharing this on my grid and I swear this will be the last of it! 😂

Last week, Jean and I attended the Confetti Wedding Awards an award ceremony dedicated to recognising some of the best in the industry.. businesses qualify by receiving votes from clients and then you’re entered into a judging process by experts within each industry to determine who they believe should receive the award. This is the reason I always look forward to the Confetti Awards as I know whoever wins it has been recognised to a high industry standard and I love celebrating them! This year however was slightly different…

“When they called out Afterglow as the winner, I couldn’t quite believe it! I put in a load of work but only because the industry has come such a long way that I feel like I need to push myself to keep up with the market. My amazing couples have the best time at their weddings and I get the privilege of being able to retell that story week after week. It’s been a transformative year for me going full time and trying to figure out how to manage the business in a full time capacity, I’ll get there eventually… but this was a fantastic moment for me which will help push me forward. Thank you all for trusting me to retell your story!

Congrats to the highly recommended videographers too, the competition this year was immense and we’re all getting better year by year allowing us to serve Scotlands engaged couples even better than we ever thought possible.

Thanks for all outstanding support people have shown me so far on my journey, long may it continue! My Quality Control Queen Jean has been through all your films, cried at a few and given each her approval. She’s also supplied a BUCKET LOAD of coffee! Thanks for joining me last week and for trusting me to make this a full time gig! It’s finally paying off! 😁😁
