Went to Janson Fishery on Saturday
It was my first time going there and I was very impressed with the venue.
It was a really windy day so I was going to use maggots and and dob bread.
I put some Monster Baits and Dips Match Range magnitiser powered on my maggots and fished at 11m.
I put about 5 maggots in my pole pot and a single red on the hook.
I shipped out and dropped the loose maggots in over my hook bait.
My DsFloats.com 1 carbon slim xl float was sitting perfectly on Fish Matrix 0.18 main line and 0.20 hook length with a MXC-4 that my Dad helped my make up the night before.
After about 5 minutes i see the float tip go under and i had hooked in to a lovely carp.
After a bit we decided to call it a day as the wind was really blowing and made it really hard holding the pole out andbi even had a bit of pole end up in the water.
Still very pleased as this was my first carp of 2022 and the first time using the MBD bait enhancer.
Its a lovely place and I cant wait to go again very soon.
