Stephen Russell Photography For 35+ years now I have been a self taught hobbyist and prize winning photographer, offering affordable commissions for individuals and organisations.

I bought my first second hand 35mm SLR camera at the age of 19 from a work colleague. it was a fully manual Exacta with a case full of accessories - zoom lens, light meter, flash and a few other long forgotten items. From this point I was hooked and soon had my bedroom converted into a darkroom, where I would spend many hours processing the shots I had taken. Following a few years and having gaine

d an understanding of manual photography I moved to a canon semi-automatic and have stuck with this brand since to where I am today with an up to date digital Canon SLR with a broad range of accessories, including studio lighting. I enjoy most types of photography – portrait, nature, still life, sports, off camera flash and the list goes on. Over the years I have been asked to photograph weddings, events, corporate head-shots in addition to building my own portfolio. At present I am building a portfolio of photography that I can exhibit and sell in print and on greeting cards. I am happy to undertake commissions, at very reasonable rates, for private individuals, other service providers, groups, clubs and organisations – please simply ask!
