It's been a busy old year so far with two new additions to the clan but we managed to squeeze in a September tour of Germany on the Kawasaki. Oodles of coffee, cake and a few beers during our visit, along with some very photogenic towns and fantastic scenery along the way. Here are the highlights.

It’s been a while so here’s a splash of vibrant colour to get us in the mood for summer. Our planned trip to Holland didn’t happen this year but a ride to Tulley’s Tulips in Hatton certainly made up for it and only down the road. Love a tulip or two!

How the temperatures change! At the start of November it was so mild we loaded up the bike and zoomed down to my all time favourite Jurassic Coast in Dorset. Something special about taking a late break away in the UK. Empty beaches for a start plus exhilarating clifftop walks. Loved the trek up to Durdle Door and even more so as the steps down to the beach are now very user-friendly, especially on these knees.

Keeping it local with some seasonal shots of the golden Abbey Fields. The new swimming pool development is ongoing but a little creative animal artwork concealing the building site adds to the fun. Lots of family history within this very natural landscape so hoping for good things ahead.

Looking back on our trip of the year to the far distant shores of New Zealand. So many photos and I'm still wading through them. Special memories of our visit to Raglan on the west coast of the North Island. Scoffing Raglan's renowned fish n chips over a few beers and sunset farewells to our kiwi family.

Earlier this year we were lucky to be in New Zealand for our daughter’s wedding. What a fabulous venue with a dreamy backdrop provided by the stunning Coromandel Peninsula. Tropical beaches and unforgettable sunrises are plentiful on this coastline so cue much camera action.
