'Just wanted to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU!!!
The photos are absolutely incredible, you have captured the day so well and have produced life long images that will bring back the joy and love we felt that day.
The detail to the parcel we received made us smile so much, we loved it!!
Feel like I haven't got the words to actually express how thankful we are.'

'Book Louise at once!! She was the most INCREDIBLE photographer for our wedding in October, not only are her photos glorious but it was like having another friend with you on your special day. She ran around helping with everything and anything, and was just all round completely marvellous. We can't recommend her highly enough and we've only seen our preview pics so far!!' - Melanie & Ian

Go check out the fabulous Lyndsey & Grants Lake District wedding on the amazing Kook Events blog!

Today’s blog takes us back in time to Lyndsey and Grant’s wedding in June 2019, at one of my favourite venues: Silverholme Manor the Lake District. Silverholme Manor is a beautiful exclusive-use wedding venue on the Graythwaite Estate, perched on the side of Lake Windermere. It’s a truly stunn...

Lovely to see Matt & Alana’s fabulous day being shared on the LND-Events blog ✨

Matt and Alana are one of the sweetest couples I have had the pleasure to work with. When I first met them they were so humble and unassuming, I knew that no matter how many guests they’d invite to their wedding, it was going to feel a really intimate day because it really was about the two of the...

After yesterday’s government announcement it looks like we’re moving in the right direction with weddings being able to go ahead as of the 4th of July.

30 people maximum for a the ceremony. Just remember this number may also include your celebrant and photographer etc.

Also celebrations can go ahead following the updated guidelines which you can find oh the government website.

Although this is still not ideal for everyones plans, hopefully restrictions will continue to improve over the coming months 🤞

Stay safe x

Just a note to all my awesome couples to say I’m working my way through messaging folk with upcoming weddings over the next 3 months. Where needs be, I’m happy to work with you to figure out dates for any potential postponements where necessary.
At the end of the day, protecting human life and preserving our NHS is the most important thing. It’s not a pleasant time for any of us but we can get through this if we work together. x

Here’s my favourite ever groom prep shot for attention.

Talk to me about holidays!

We’ve finally got some dates pencilled in our diaries for a two week holiday in a couple of months time. Whoop! So now just need to decide where to go!
We loved visiting Croatia last year and have already agreed on going to Morroco next spring, so thinking of something a little closer this time round.
Italy has been the most talked about country so far. We want good food, maybe some places of historical interest or natural epic scenery to explore, maybe more than one location. Does anyone have any favourite, preferably European destinations, they can suggest we should consider? Thanks!

Random moments are sometimes my favourite moments.

I love going with the flow and having to think on the fly during a wedding day, as the unexpected can occur at any given time.
On this particular day, while I was mid formal shots of the groomsmen, this guy pulls his car up in front of me, in an attempted photobomb. Rather than wait for him to pass, I added him in the frame for and love how it turned out!
Thanks Mr. random, thumbs up, photobombing man, for this serendipities moment.👍📷

It's lovely to see one of my three Highly Commended images from last years awards being shared as inspiration for this years contenders. On top of this, it was a fantastic experience to have one of those images chosen as a finalist!

Welcome to today's inspirational 'you can do it!' post we hear from Fox Tail Photography as she tells us the story behind her Highly Commended shot for 2019 Champagne Taittinger Wedding Food Photographer category.

Louise said, 'Primarily, I am a wedding photographer and have never previously considered myself a food photographer, yet food is so obviously a huge and important part of most wedding days. It is also a part of the day that is still massively overlooked by many wedding photographers, perhaps including myself up until more recently.

Many wedding photographers don't photograph the food and will take a break during the wedding breakfast. Coming across the Pink Food Lady Awards has helped me realise that photographing food really is an important part of any wedding day and doesn't just have to be a picture of a plate of food, it can be far more creative than this and done in a way that tells a part of the story of the day.

Since entering the awards I find myself searching more for these interesting moments involving food, whether it's the waiting staff carrying plates out of the kitchen or grandma scoffing a shrimp canapé. Being a Highly Commended was such a great experience, an honour and something I never imagined I would achieve. It's like a little light has been switched on helping me to see, with enthusiastic vision, things which I had previously paid little attention to. I now find myself striving to incorporate more food-related images into the story of images from a weddings day. '

The deadline for the competition is Feb 9th but don't leave it until then. Make sure you get those entries in and good luck!
