Congratulations Jordyn & Adam!

I had the pleasure of capturing official wedding photos for this genuinely lovely couple on Friday. They married at The Carlton, Prestwick. Amazing day from start to finish - here are a few feature shots. I'll share more later 🙂

RED ON BACKYARD ULTRA 2026 (Cheltenham Race Course)
I'll finish off my posts on The Last Man Standing event with a small selection of favourite photos from my own set that I captured while working alongside Josh on the race photography.

Hopefully these will give you an insight into how tough this challenge was as over 300 runners ran 4.167 miles every single hour until only one remained. Congratulation to Jay Stapley for winning with an incredible 254 mile total - and to all competitors and organisers - can't wait for next year!

Behind the scenes at Red On Backyard 2026 :)

With over 300 athletes at event registration we had to be exceptionally organised to capture creative headshots and print on site. (All images had to be printed on polaroid film and mounted onto 3 large competitor boards to be crossed off as each one withdrew from race!)

Josh and I worked beforehand in my studio to create a cool 'Red On brand style' black and white preset - when I captured headshots they instantly tethered to Josh's laptop to let our subjects view.

This weekend I had the privilege of being part of simply THEE best media team I have ever worked alongside!
Red On Events put on Europe's Largest 'Back Yard Ultra' at Cheltenham Race Course.

300+ runners set off at 12 noon on Friday to run a 4.167 mile lap - known as a yard. Each hour, on the hour they then repeat the challenge until only ONE runner remains. (All others are given a DNF when they ring the finish line bell and a large X is crossed over their portrait on the wall!)

Josh and I were on official photo duty, Jake and JJ on video and Rob on drone footage. I was genuinely blown away with their preparation, exceptional creativity and complete dedication.... the winner (Jay Stapley) ran for 61 Consecutive laps... over TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY FOUR MILES. We were there to the very end seeing the sun set 3 times.

During the race itself the phenomal content being posted every hour helped the instagram page rise from 1,500 followers to over 10,000 - and achived over 7.8 MILLION views as people worldwide were engaged... those numbers will continue to climb.
