Twickenham is of my favourite local shoot locations - the mix of riverside, greenery, cobbled streets as well as my coworking spot Patch - Work Near Home makes it an ideal place for brand photography. 😍 I’m lucky to have some lovely areas around me (Richmond is another favourite) and although I do shoots all around London (& beyond) I do love these local spots!

Light matters; composition, backdrops & poses matters too - but there one main thing that will make a portrait go from good to great… and it’s not a great outfit 😉 (well maybe sometimes!) Do you agree with the above?

Happy Monday! Let’s see what weather is up to this week - you never know these days 😅 (my daughter wore her winter coat when she went out Saturday night 🙈)

Starting the week with a shoot at the lovely homeware shop where will be doing a pop-up. Exciting! 🤩

Marj reached out to me as she’s just started a new business and needed some brand photos for her website and LinkedIn posts. As she worked from home and wanted more ‘office style’ photos (without being too corporate) I gave her a few suggestions on spaces we could hire. We ended up at my coworking space Twickenham, which I know very well and has the benefit of lovey outdoor spaces right on its doorstep - something we made the most of at our session. 😊

…just look for the light / lines / colours (and of course, the most important thing - the FEELING ✨)

You don’t need a fancy studio or a royal park to get good photos - if you start looking out for good light / composition / colour tones you can get a good shot pretty much anywhere. (This shot is from Venice, which, I have to admit, is quite easy to find great spots in 😉)

Having worked as a photographer for 10 years I see things in compositions / grids and always think about the light & colour tones. It’s both a blessing and a curse 😆

Not sure how this is nearly a month ago ❤️ Loved attending / photographing this yoga retreat with in Portugal, such a well organised and relaxing few days (yes, relaxing despite working 😍).
