It's been so long since I last had my camera in my hands, I forgot what to do.

We discovered this perfect opportunity on our daily exercise.

This girl has so much attitude and sass!

I hope you are all staying safe

I've been quiet for the past year, sharing posts of interest online etc.

My studio is nowhere near being rebuilt yet sadly, my focus has been on my mum's cancer journey and that is not over yet.

This amazing coastal Suffolk photographer took what I can only describe as breath taking images for me of my family, these were "final memory images" as I described, something we can look back on years to come. Everyone was reluctant to be in the middle of a park on a freezing cold February. Lots of inappropriate clothes, and mum was actually the worst behaved at looking at the camera or even moving in to shot when asked. Anna had a lot of patience and what I received in imagery is stunning. It was everything I could of wished for and more, not for a single second did I consider buying an image package, I opted for every single image and have not regretted it one bit. The emotion in these photos, I gasped and sobbed when I saw them on my screen.

When all you are left with are memories, photos are sooooo important to keep those memories alive. I've booked our next shoot in already, this time coastal and a lot nicer weather I hope. Images can tell a story that will last a lifetime.

Mother's day special!

Giving time and memories to last forever is the best GIFT you can give.

⚠️ N A P P Y S A C K S⚠️

Following a conversation during one of our classes this week, we felt it important to share with you the risk associated with nappy sacks.

Young babies under 6 months old are at greatest risk of suffocation from nappy sacks. They explore the world by putting everything to their mouths, but then find it difficult to let go.

Suffocation is not the only risk - choking can also happen if a baby inhales a bag.

Always keep nappy sacks well out of reach of babies and NEVER put them in a cot, pram or buggy.

The Child Accident Prevention Trust has a really good website for further reference:

It’s lies 🤣🤣🤣

So... what do you think? 😂😂

When anyone mentions GRAPES everyone thinks 'choking hazard for children'....but we always remind people in class that there are other choking hazards too! Think carefully what you give and how you chop foods for your under 5's 🍇🍒🍅🍿🍬

Did you know that Marshmallows are actually one of the top choking hazards for children under 5 years?

No? You are not alone! Most don't! Help us spread the word 💚

🌟Delayed umbilical cord clamping (not earlier than 1 min after birth) is recommended for improved maternal and infant health and nutrition outcomes. ⠀

🌟Delayed cord clamping offers the most benefits to preterm infants, but it also benefits full-term babies and mothers.⠀

🌟A 2013 review delayed cord clamping to increased hemoglobin and iron in full-term babies. This can reduce a baby’s risk for anemia.⠀

🌟A 2015 study looked at 263 4-year-olds. Overall, the children whose cords were clamped three or more minutes after birth scored slightly higher on an assessment of fine motor skills and social skills than the children whose cords were clamped 10 seconds or less after birth.⠀

🌟Delayed clamping may reduce the need for blood transfusions and improve circulation in premature babies. It helps lower the risk of bleeding in the brain and necrotizing enterocolitis, an intestinal disease that affects almost 5 to 10 percent of premature infants.⠀

🌟 A delay in cord clamping has been linkedTrusted Source to a higher risk of jaundice. But delayed clamping’s benefits may outweigh this risk, as long as phototherapy treatment for jaundice is available.⠀

🌟 According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), delayed clamping does not increase the risk for postpartum hemorrhage, or excessive maternal blood loss.⠀

🌟Delayed cord clamping is possible whether you have a cesarean or vaginal delivery. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), delayed clamping is just as importantTrusted Source for cesarean births.⠀

Did you do delayed cord clamping? Is it in your birth plan? ⠀

‼️ Did you know that it's recommended for your little one to travel rear-facing in the car until they're at least 4 years old?

🚗 Extended Rear Facing has been shown to be 5 times safer for infants under the age of 4 years old due their head, neck and spinal development, and the impact on them during a crash. A rear-facing car seat provides added protection on impact, greatly reducing their risk of injury.

This is something we talk about during class however, one of the most commonly asked questions is 'BUT WHERE DO THEIR LEGS GO?’

Well, here's some pictures a 2.5 year old, comfortably rear-facing, with plenty of room for growing, to show you exactly where their legs go 😍

Feel free to share 💚
