It was a pleasure to bring myself out of wedding-photo-retirement to photograph the ceremony of my neighbour a couple of weeks ago.

I've watched Marcus grow from a wee schoolboy to this strapping, kilted Scotsman on his wedding day. Time flies, it really does!

Here are a few captures from Marcus and his beautiful wife Helly's intimate wedding ceremony.

It's been full steam ahead in my studio recently, but today I am taking time to collate and pack a top up of cards for the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) Highland Wildlife Park. Also included is a brand new set of creatures which were photographed only last month. 🐾

I'm also enjoying a great view from the window 🌤

This class will give time and guidance so you can develop a regular drawing practice that will also support your wellbeing, offering space to reflect and chat while creating a journal or sketchbook.

I think we are now at the stage where this is the most snow I can remember experiencing. Just when we thought it was beginning to thaw a touch yesterday, more came down, adding another 3" overnight, then with -7 it froze everything by daybreak. The trees today looked magical with a winter coat, illuminated by blue skies and sunlight - and morning mist flowing in and out through the dips in the landscape.

We've had the deepest drifts, the biggest snowflakes, the longest icicles and the most incredible sights ✨️😍✨️

But I still hope it's all gone by next week - it's impossible getting in and out of the drive, even after a farmer had cleared it.
