🎨✨ Excited is an understatement! This weekend, I’m thrilled to be part of the very first Garioch Pipe Band Championships in Inverurie on 29th June 2025 — not just as a spectator, but as a vendor with Highland Creations by Jodi!

Growing up playing the bagpipes in a pipe band, events like this have always held a special place in my heart. Now, I get to support this incredible local celebration of music and culture in a new way — by sharing my artwork inspired by Scotland’s spirit and heritage.

Inverurie to Host the Inaugural Garioch Pipe Band Championships
Sunday 29th June 2025 will see Inverurie transformed into a celebration of Scottish tradition and community pride as the first-ever Garioch Pipe Band Championships take place at Kellands Park.
Organised by Inverurie BID, Inverurie Events, and the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association (RSPBA), this major new event will welcome 14 pipe bands performing across 22 competitive performances, with groups travelling from across the North East and as far afield as Edinburgh.
The championships are free to attend and are set to draw thousands of visitors for a day filled with music, culture, and family entertainment.

A Showcase of Scottish Talent and Local Spirit
Beyond the competitive performances, attendees can enjoy a lively event village featuring over 60 vendors, including street food, gifts, crafts, local charities, community groups, face painting, sweet and savoury treats, and more. A beer tent, mini fun fair, and a grand parade through Inverurie’s town centre will round off the day’s festivities in spectacular fashion.
Local businesses have also embraced the event, with shopfront displays and themed decorations appearing across the town to welcome visitors and celebrate the occasion.

RALLYE AT THE RIVER MAY THE 4TH
MILTON OF CRATHES SHOWFIELD

This time tomorrow folks, Milton of Crathes will once again be "Rocking" as Rallye at the River returns (Bigger and Better) Nobody can fill the events field, many have tried, but Rallye at the River is the only one to manage it. It's shaping up to be a huge show this year.
We'll have over 500 vehicles on display, a large trade/craft stand section - by a country mile the biggest craft fair in Aberdeenshire. This year we have over 90 stalls, yes 90 stalls!
Large Autojumble, Kids Entertainment area is 1000sqm, Food vendors on site and some members from a local pipe band will be playing for your entertainment.
Ace Competitions will be drawing an amazing 90's retro car live on the day.
Plenty public parking with our own onsite car park and the best has yet to come we are only £5 to enter the show, kids under 12 go free. Without a doubt a fantastic value for money event. The craft section alone is bigger than many whole events. A complete famliy day out at a tiny cost only £5 per adult.

PLEASE NOTE- ABSOLUTELY NO SHOW PARKING IS ALLOWED IN THE TRAIN STATION/ MILTON COMPLEX CAR PARK! YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE SHOW, PARKING AT THAT CAR PARK.

Please follow the signs for the onsite parking, via the Level Crossing entrance. DO NOT PARK IN THE TRAIN STATION/MILTON COMPLEX CAR PARK.
