Katie and Matthew ❤️ 11th April Kippilaw House

K&M chose the wonderful Kippilaw house to get wed with their closest family and friends. We had a beautiful chilled out day, loads of laughter and some emotional tears, as always. Don't be fooled by the nice bright and sunny conditions, it was a bitterly cold wind blowing 🥶 We braved the cold and they had a beautiful humanist ceremony held out front of the house with Robbie the celebrant.

Garry and Inna ❤️ 26th March Cringletie, Peebles

Garry and Inna travelled down from Inverness with their best mates and cute pups for a lovely intimate wedding at Cringletie House. Inna and the team at Cringletie planned and executed the perfect day, even the weather played ball and didn't rain till later in the day. Lee and Jen ❤️ 21st March Cringletie, Peebles

On the hottest day this year so far L&J eloped from downsouth to the Scottish Borders to get married at the Cringletie House. They wanted a relaxed chilled day and that is exactly what they had, to be honest it was probably thee most chilled day that I've ever photographed. That said it was one of the best days, loads of laughter and one or two tears of happiness.

Sonya & Paul ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 23rd Feb Neidpath Castle

A dream wedding in a Scottish castle. This pair travelled up from down south to get hitched at the same castle they got engaged at 4 years ago. They wanted a relaxed no stress day and that's excactly what they had. They're no strangers to Scotland and love hiking and camping in the remotest places they can. The cold windy weather on the wedding day was accepted and embraced as normal.

First wedding this year and what a lovely way to start the year. This pair eloped in secret and were a joy to be around, so chilled out and happy. A lovely wee ceremony in the Chapel then a very unexpected dry wander round the gardens. With rain threatning we got an hour to grab a few pics 🙏🏻

The last wedding of 2025 - Stephen and Suzanne ❤️

22nd Dec 2025 🎄 Cringletie, Peebles

What a lovely day we had at The Cringletie. A local haunt to this farmer and his sweetheart as they live a couple of miles up the road on the other side of the valley. With their closest family and friends in attendance it was filled with laughter and some emotional tears. The best kind of day 🥰

Almost finished looking back on last years lovely weddings, love looking back through all the pics ❤️🍁

First up in these 2 autumnal weddings are Alison and Torquil who chose to get wed at Traquair Village Hall What a great choice to have the ceremony and after party with their close family and friends. ❤️

Giorgia and Elliot went for the Scottish castle wedding at Neidpath Castle They travelled up from Swindon with their close family and friends to have the best day ever. Yeah the weather went all typical Scottish 4 seasons in one day but we got some epic pics.

I was a bit late to the show last night but hey there will be more shows I'm sure. It didn't help we covered in cloud locally but still managed a few nice funky coloured images through the cloud. Shame really as it was the strongest aurora since 2003. I'm sure you've seen a few pics online today, so here's 3 more

January is always a quiet month, so it gives me some time to look back on more happy times from last years weddings ❤️

Lisa & Hayden ❤️❤️ Cormiston Farm What a fantastic venue, first time shooting a wedding there and really hope to get back there soon.

The Halloween light show made a return to Traquair House what a show they put on. Well done on the hard work Mark Phelan

Dionne and John ❤️❤️ Abbotsford House. Another first for me to be shooting a wedding such a historic house.

Beate and Kay ❤️🇩🇪 Cringletie, Peebles These 2 love birds drove over from Germany to get married at the Cringletie back in September.

More happy memories of 2025 ❤️

Great to get back to Branxholm Park Luxury Wedding Venue to spend a fantastic day with Seb and Vicky and there family 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Traquair House is where Helen and David were wed back in September in the ancient Yew Tree circle. Graham and Jan also chose to get wed at Traquair House but in the old Chapel.
Kailzie Gardens was the venue Iris and Jason chose to get wed, what a lovely choice ❤️

As we look forward to 2026 and what it brings I'm still looking back at 2025 and remembering the good times we had.
A first for me was shooting Duncan and Fiona's wedding at Dawyck Botanic Garden what a beautiful place, hope to get back there again one day ❤️ Niousha and Eivind came over from Norway with there closest family and friends to get wed at Cringletie, Peebles on what was one of the hottest days of the year 🔥. Mark and Charlotte chose Traquair House for there elopement and we had a lovely day ❤️ Lynsay and Rob battled with Storm Floris but we still got out for some pics outside 👊❤️ Another first for me this year was making an effort to photograph some of the local Osprey. Not an easy thing to do as you don't want to upset them but do it from a distance. ✔️
