Given the opportunity to capture an old Stock Car Idol at Smeatharpe last weekend so I took it !
Brisca f2 Stock Car Driver from the past Smeatharpes Original Curator,Promoter,World Champion # 800 Roy Goodman,
Roy was my favourite Driver when I used to Attend as a very young lad.
Who can forget those pink,blue Stock cars 🤗and with Roy looking good and now in his 90’s great seeing him still supporting the sport he established at the track all those years ago.
Thanks for the opportunity Roy, and look forward to seeing you for years to come .
One happy little boy!😂maybe not so little now 😜

It's great to see not only a stock car legend at the track, but the very man who started the track all those years ago, Roy Goodman now in his 90;s. Thanks for the photo Roy !!📸 My childhood Idol back in the day 😁
As finals go this was some race ,with plenty of action through the grades, a heavy bump for 710 Louie Stuckey , restarts , a roll over for 980 Charlie Lobb, all whilst the fast MSR001 of Matt Stoneman Racing
lead at the front with Weare, Palmer , Smith all scrapping for 2nd,3rd,4th.
Deserved winner of the Roy Goodman Challenge Trophy #127 Matt Stoneman 🏁🏆🏆
