Babs is a wife to a great man, a mum to one boy, one girl, an old dog and a blind cat. Photography has always played part in her life but it wasn't until just before her son was born when she realised her passion for documenting the beauty of everyday and portraying the usual in unusual way. Once her children were born it was only a natural process to capture their journey through life. And so she

decided to turn passion into a business and Babs Lambourne Photography was born. As a mother she knows what it takes to get children's attention to capture their true self and she finds working with children and families a second nature just like she finds working with animals, being a dog and a cat owner and having grown up amongst horses.

You may have noticed that it has been rather quiet at Babs Lambourne Photography for a while now. The reason being is that I've decided to no longer offer the services and keep photography as my joy and therapy only. Thank you to all my clients over the years, some of you became friends, some of you came back more than once and it has been a huge pleasure and honour to be chosen as YOUR photographer.

Even though I don't take bookings anymore I will keep this site up for everybody, including me, to look back and enjoy the photos.

How is everybody doing? Little Cooper is jumping into Monday no matter what the week is going to throw at him! After a beautiful weekend with my family celebrating Mother’s Day I tackled the start of the week pretty well too! I started off with an easy 7k jog which motivated me for the rest of the day. I completed some editing, did some admin work, took my dog for a (rainy) walk and finished off cooking something that kids ate which is always an achievement in itself! We are all well and truly into our first full week of 2023 and now the kids are back at school I can start focusing on being organised and on track (so she says!!). It is not a resolution (I'm still to achieve my 2018 resolutions which is why I stopped doing those 😅) but lets just say here's to staying on top of my crap this year - well, at least try! Booking now for “In The Box” Christmas Mini Photoshoot!

Whether you’re a family of 4 (or 5, 6, 7…), a couple or maybe it’s just you or you and your dog (yes, well behaved furries are welcome) and you would like to gift your dear ones with a fun photograph this Christmas, then read on!
