A new chapter ✨

After just over two incredible years with babyballet® World , I’ve officially stepped back from my role as Social Media & Content Creation Lead.

It’s so hard to put into words just how much this experience has meant to me. I’ve had the opportunity to work on some amazing projects and campaigns, from supporting incredible charities like Tommy’s and BBC Children in Need, to attending the What’s On 4 Kids Awards, helping launch babyballet Dubai, and collaborating with some truly inspiring people, including Jeanette Manrara, Aljaž Škorjanec and Molly-Mae Hague.

I’m so grateful for every opportunity, every lesson and every person I’ve met along the way. It really has been an amazing two years, and I’m incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved.

But now, I’m so excited to be taking a step back from my role at babyballet and officially stepping into a world of my own.

Alongside my role, I’ve been building my own business, Northern Content Co., and I honestly can’t believe I’m finally at the point where I get to make this my main focus. After a really challenging couple of years balancing my own growing business alongside a part-time role with such a busy and growing brand, it finally feels like the right time to take that leap.

The exciting thing is that this isn’t quite goodbye! I’m so pleased to be continuing to work with babyballet through Northern Content Co. on some very exciting projects, so there’s still lots to look forward to.

I’m incredibly excited (and slightly nervous!) for this next chapter and everything that’s to come. Here’s to taking the leap, backing yourself and seeing where it takes you 🤍✨

We’re looking for a freelance creative to join The Northern Content Co. to support our team with social media caption writing and Canva design.

This role is ideal for someone looking for a few flexible hours each week or an additional freelance opportunity. The position is primarily remote, with the option to work from our workspace if preferred.

If you have strong copywriting skills, a good eye for design, and experience creating engaging social media content, we’d love to hear from you.

We’ll explore content editing using Capcut. You’ll discover how to edit various content styles, such as B-roll content. We’ll also take a look at how to create voiceovers, use simple transitions and trending sounds, helping you get the most out of content you create.

Our session will start at 6:30 giving everyone chance to get in and settled, there will be a 15 minute break, tea’s and coffee’s will be provided.

Are you planning your wedding for how it looks…
Or how it feels? 🤍
Because the photos shared across socials, the Pinterest boards.
They’ll live on your phone.
They’ll be posted.
They’ll be seen.

And then?

They’re gone within 24 hours, a scroll…

But how your wedding felt…

That’s what stays.

This isn’t me saying don’t style, don’t get the decor team because aside from a coordinator and wedding planner, those that plan with me and hear me talk will know I say a decor team are a non negotiable - who’s doing the styling? Who’s doing the room turn rounds? Who’s running logistics of that ceremony to wedding breakfast switch up? This is alll a must for me ✌🏼

I’m referring to how much people focus on the likes on socials, trends, etc superficial elements - that do not stand the test of time 👌🏼 what is important is ⬇️

How your guests felt ❤️
How you felt walking down the aisle 🤍
How the room felt in those moments that mattered 🥂

So instead of asking:
“What will this look like?”

Start asking:
“How do I want this to feel?”

Because that’s what people remember, that’s what you will remember 🙏🏼 that is how that money you spend… you never regret and you’d spend it over and over again!

In this wedding planning series we’re going to be taking a look at hot topics, taboos and all things controversial when it comes to wedding planning!

✨ Wedding planning is stressful…or is it? ✨

One of the first things brides are told is that this journey will be overwhelming, chaotic, and stressful…

But in reality?

It’s not the wedding that creates the stress 🤍 It’s the environment around it, the noise, the pressure, family members, friends, and navigating something you’ve never done before. You’re expected to:
• Choose suppliers you don’t know
• Make decisions you’ve never made
• Spend money, in a space you don’t know the price points of things
• And somehow “just figure it out” whilst navigating your day to day life too!

That would feel heavy to anyone!

And this is where I do things differently 👌🏼

I don’t just help you plan your wedding, I help you feel your way through it. My background in mindset practice is intertwined throughout my work, helping you see things from different perspectives, and approach things in a way you may not have previously! Aswell as ⬇️

✨ Choosing suppliers with intention, not pressure
✨ Making decisions from an informed, grounded space
✨ Bringing calm, clarity, and confidence into every step

Because your wedding isn’t just about the outcome…It’s about how you experience the journey getting there. Focussing on the journey aswell makes it feel more special, it’s not just one day!

My ‘job’? 👏🏼
Is to make that feel easy, supported, and completely aligned to you, so you look back with zero regrets, and never experience the wedding blues 🤍

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, this is your reminder, it doesn’t have to feel like that. Surround yourself with people you trust and align with, and it’ll feel immediately easier!

When logistics are taken care of properly…

You’re not pulled out of moments to “check things” or “figure things out”

You’re in it. Fully. Completely. Present 💕

Laughing, feeling, taking it all in, slowing down, on the day everyone tells you it goes quick! What day doesn’t? So it’s my job to carve those moments out with you and for you! ❤️
