In the early 1930’s Fred Grindrod my maternal grandfather worked at Moss Brothers Dyers and Finishers in Todmorden before being promoted to Factory Manager at Pecket Well Weaving Shed producing corduroy on the old 28 inch looms for the same company.

A little reminder. The Listening Hour 4 is today, at the Brick Box Rooms on Ivegate. Doors open 2.30pm, programme starts at 3pm. An hour-ish of bubble inspired sounds. Some pop, and some squeak. A bit of babbling. By water and brook bobble along bringing bright baubles of binaural beats with breaks for blither, blabbing and beer...ooOOoOoooo

So the bubbling programme is full and way too long - it will be another 'pick and mix', 'suck it and see', 'make it up as we go along' kind of hours of music, story and sounds in the intimate surroundings of the Brick Box Bar, Ivegate, Bradford, tomorrow, Sunday 2nd September - doors open at 2.30pm, programme starts at 3pm.
