Some sad news, but one year nearly to the day of getting the keys to the studio space, I've made the hard decision to give up the lease.
We started our journey plagued by water coming in which we were advised would be fixed with a new roof last winter so I battled through the inconvenience and damp.
Summer has been fine, but the rains have started and so again has the flooding. For my own sanity I've decided enough is enough unfortunately, I can't keep seeing my equipment ruined.
I'm sad to see the space go, I've loved every experience I've had there, it's allowed me to really work on a side of photography that was very new to me, and to win awards for these images has been amazing.
I plan on continuing to offer a studio experience but in a more downscaled way, reverting back to a portable studio, bringing the backdrops to you and providing beautiful studio photos from the comfort of your home. The props will be minimal, but we'll still have our funny faces 💚
I may hold one more day for some discounted studio sessions, just to say a final goodbye to the space, but I haven't decided for sure yet, so keep an eye out, if you've always wanted a studio slot, this may be your time!
