1. Qualified Sonographer’s
Not all private scan clinics have diagnostic Sonographer’s. If I was going to pay for a private scan I would want to know that I had the most qualified Sonographer’s performing my scan. All Sonographer’s at Baby Bump are diagnostic, NHS Sonographers.

2. There is a Transvaginal probe available
If you are coming in for an Early Reassurance scan especially you want to know that the clinic had an Internal probe. If the heartbeat cannot be seen with the abdominal probe, the internal probe will give better views. Again, if you are paying for a scan you want to know that the clinic has the best facilities for your scan.

3. A welcoming and clean clinic
I would want to walk in and be made to feel at ease. As a mum of two myself, I know how anxious scans can make you feel. There is always a warm welcome at Baby Bump and we love hearing about your pregnancy and meeting your family.
