Crafting with kids is great fun, but it’s often messy and time consuming. Our kids want to create something they can be proud of, but faced with a box of craft supplies they can often be overwhelmed with choice. Sites like Pinterest makes it easy for us to find lots of fun craft ideas, but finding the time to buy supplies and prepare them to achieve those ideas can be tricky. Here at a fistful of
glitter we take care of that boring planning stuff and leave you free to enjoy the fun sticking and creating bit! Every Tuesday at the Pelican on Portland we’ll be running a craft drop in from 9.30-11.30am (perfect for after the school run) where we’ll have two pre-prepared kits ready for you and your pre-schoolers to enjoy. Choose between the £5 kit, ideal for slightly older kids, ready to turn into something they can really be proud of and the £3 kit, designed with younger toddlers in mind, giving them the opportunity to create something simple but fun. Inside your craft kit you’ll find all the craft supplies you need to make your kit and some simple photographic instructions (that you can always throw away and ignore if you wish!) We’ll provide the glue for sticking and a nice bright apron to cover up your child’s clothes, you bring the imagination and the excited little hands ready to create!
