It’s been seven years since the tragic Manchester Arena bombing on 22.05.17 that took the lives of 22 innocent concert goers 🐝💛

Our thoughts are still with the families and friends of those who died and anyone that is dealing with the emotional toll of the attack.

Two years ago, The Glade of Light was opened to remember those lost. Designed to be a living memorial, a tranquil garden space for reflection, families who lost loved ones were kept informed and consulted at key moments during the design and construction process.

Its peaceful surroundings are intended as the setting for commemorative events in the city relating to the attack and, this evening, between 22:19-22:31, 100 drones will be lighting up Manchester’s sky in their memory.

We will remember them. 💛
