First wedding of the yyeeaarr! 💙

It was great to be back shooting Ellie and Josh's wedding last Saturday, down at Horsham Registry Office. The weather was perfect (PSA: You don't need a super sunny day on your wedding day, a bit of cloud cover creates the PERFECT light!) and I had a great time capturing all the cuteness!

I'm really looking forward to a summer full of weddings, can't wait to get back shooting full time and FINALLY meeting all my couples!

So pleased that we were still able to squeeze this wedding in and I was able to capture this super cute Ceremony, (my third and final wedding of 2020) just before lockdown 3.0. Literally the day before, on the 19th of December.

Dominique and Francisco were amazing during their couple shots, which we did before their Ceremony to make use of the fading light. So full of happiness, laughs and luurve!

It was really lovely for just a couple of hours to forget about everything that's going on and have a little bit of (socially distanced) fun!

For obvious reasons, I've been very quiet on social media over the past year. However, I was up bright and early this morning to start the first week of 2021 with a new mindset, a ton of goal setting, and lots of positive thinking for this coming year!

We've got this! 💪

WELL. What a wedding season that was! I have shot a grand total of, drum role please.... ONE wedding!

Thanks Covid/BoJo. 😕

This wedding turned out to be my first and last wedding of 2020, and I reeaally didn't want to leave it! After not shooting a wedding in 9 months, due to all mine being postponed until next year, it felt so good to be out shooting one again!

Mel and James, both nurses, (I was delighted to hear this and thanked them for their service during the pandemic!) booked me super last minute. They had planned a larger wedding but with everything going had to postpone and decided to have a smaller Ceremony with close friends and family.

And honestly it was SO lovely, I've always said I love a small intimate wedding, or 'micro weddings' (less than 20 guests) as they are being called now, as you get to know everyone a little bit more throughout the day! So don't fret guys, it sucks, but we can make it work!

Melanie and James, thank you so much for choosing to book me, I hope I made it as special as it could be and you had the best time!

The second, on Friday, was Jess and Michael's beautifully elegant, intimate wedding at the Beaverbrook Hotel in Leatherhead (home of the best, most amazing sushi I have ever tasted!)

Jess actually knows my cousin, Ben - I love it when I get to shoot the weddings of people that know people I know!

I don’t say it much, (or even at all), but I am immensely proud of what I achieved last week! I shot my first triple header (three weddings, in a row) and I loved every minute of it! My couples (and guests) were absolutely amazing, and I am super happy with the work I produced!

The first, on Thursday, was Judith and Ross' official ceremony at Guildford Registry Office followed by drinks and cake in the park, next to the river Wey. What a lovely way to celebrate getting married! Here are a few snaps!
