Hi!
I’ve never done one of these introduce yourself posts, but it is the first thing I look at on other business profiles so thought it was about time! I’m Rachel, Mum of two boys Ethan and Oliver and wife to George. We live in a village near Horsham, our dream is to buy a project house, mainly because I want chickens and a goat! Love a park run with the boys although they are getting faster than me already! But 💯 do it for the coffee and cake after. I’m middle of 3 girls and therefore have middle child syndrome. I have always just focused of what I enjoyed doing so at school it was always art. I initially wanted to train as an art teacher but further studying made my focus shift to photography. I set up Wallflower in 2011. I graduated in 2010 (the same year I got married!) and worked as a carer alongside setting up my business. I went full time a couple of years later once the business was established, initially predominantly magazine work. My business has evolved with my life and wedding photography was the main focus of my work, it worked well when my boys were young. When my boys started school it was time to refocus the business again, I no longer wanted to be working all weekend every weekend. That’s when the nursery focus really kicked in. Working with young children has been such a joy and being a Mum I can really appreciate the importance of capturing children as they grow and change so quickly. If you’ve read this far well done 👏🏻
