The look, the attitude and the intensity were all there. When someone truly becomes the character in front of my camera, creating images like this is an absolute pleasure.

I personally think she truly embodies the character, and that’s when I absolutely love working with cosplayers—not only when the costume looks incredible, but when they completely become the character in front of the camera.

That connection brings every pose, expression and image to life—and makes creating shots like these an absolute pleasure.

🚴‍♂️💨 THE TOUR OF BRITAIN CAME THROUGH HORNSEA! 📸🔥

Well… that was EPIC!

When I heard the Tour of Britain was coming straight through Hornsea, there was absolutely no way I was going to miss the opportunity to grab the camera and capture some of the action.

No complicated planning, no travelling miles to find the perfect location… I literally headed to the top of my street, found my spot and waited! 😂📸

And then…

WOW!

One minute we were waiting, the next the road was absolutely alive with some of the best cyclists in the world flying past at an incredible pace! 🚴‍♂️💨🚴‍♂️💨

The speed is something you just don’t appreciate until you’re standing at the side of the road trying to photograph it.

A few seconds of frantic shooting, some amazing action, the sound and energy of the peloton rushing past…

…and then it was all over in a heartbeat!

But what an experience — and how brilliant to have something like the Tour of Britain racing straight through Hornsea! ❤️

I absolutely love photographing moments like this. You get one chance, a few seconds to react, and then it’s gone.

Thankfully… I think we managed to capture a few crackers! 📸🔥

🚴‍♂️💨 THE TOUR OF BRITAIN CAME THROUGH HORNSEA! 📸

Well… that was EPIC!

With the Tour of Britain coming straight through Hornsea, I couldn’t really let an opportunity like that pass me by. So I grabbed the camera, wandered to the top of my street, picked a spot and waited…

Then suddenly — THEY WERE HERE! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️

The speed, the noise, the atmosphere… absolutely brilliant! Some fantastic action to capture and then, almost as quickly as it started…

It was over in a heartbeat! 😂📸

But while everyone else was watching the bikes…

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the SUPPORT CARS?! 😍🔥

I mean… come on! Some seriously gorgeous machinery following the peloton through Hornsea. Naturally, the camera may have wandered away from the cyclists for a few frames! 😂

What an experience having an event like the Tour of Britain pass right through our little seaside town.
