One love, four lenses. 🎞️📸📱

I will always be fascinated by how lens and camera choice dictate the artistic direction of a photograph. The choices are always intentional, helping to set the mood of the overall storytelling.
I ADORE each of these frames and love how they all convey a totally different energy. If you’re a bit of a camera nerd like me, here’s my take on the formats and a little behind-the-scenes look at the gear I use:

Photo 1: 🎞️ Shot on the iconic Kodak Portra 400 35mm film. The warmth of this stock conveys intimacy and a quiet observation of their love. The natural elegance Kodak brings to portraits brings the moment to life.

Photo 2: 🎞️ I switched to the legendary Ilford HP5 400 35mm film for this scene. I love the dramatic elegance created by the sharp contrast this film is famous for. The result feels bold and cinematic.

Photo 3: 📸 Taken on the best of modern digital technology. This split-second capture perfectly locks in the crisp detail of the champagne spray, the joy, fun, and high energy of the moment.

Photo 4: 📱 The iPhone BTS shot; the ultimate “right now.” Authentic and real.
