When Jess and George told me about this shoot I was so excited and couldn’t wait to meet Roka IRL….find her
We lucked out with a sunny morning in April and I arrived just in time for her to offer to make me some yummy pancakes and coffee…while we chatted about life.
Roka lives her dream life on a boat travelling around with her cat Billie, always coming back to Hertford.
She grows flowers in her mini greenhouse boat and sells them at the markets in London, travels in our her bike and sets up. She is such a beautiful soul and a free spirit.

It’s still feels a dream to be the photographer for this team. Everything they plan is heart fully thought through and orchestrated from such a genuine place. I love them so much 🥹🥰

Really enjoyed this photoshoot for with back in January. This crew is so cool and bring something so special to the running community in Hertford. What I experienced felt like such positivity and support. One member wearing a speaker on their back to keep the energy up…
It was special and though I’m not a runner (yet 🤪) it certainly made me want to run. Kinda 😉

Luke who has set it up is special too, and now a client of mine at The Deep House. He’s very passionate about getting people keen to run together and found a fun and free way to do it 🥹💛🖤

It’s been really fun for me to photograph my own massage studio, it’s been really fun to have my own massage studio…
When I say fun I also mean grateful, overwhelmed with gratitude really. For both things flowing at once. For both things I have put alllll me heart and soul into growing for over 10 years.
Each grown with an enormous love of people, connections, healing, light and again gratitude.
Each an organic progression of determination and hard workk.
Each consistently choosing self belief over self doubt and trusting the timing of everything….

Iykyk. Thanks for all the love and support along the way. It takes a community, a village. And a lot of love 💝

The original image that I’ve had so many lovely messages about.

Meet Andreas.
One of my massage clients, now photography clients and friend.
He loves his bees so much and sells his honey at the bee stall in town. I caught up with on a sunny day and just as the smoke was sprayed to calm the bees, I stood there in absolute awe at what I was about to capture. 🥹
Gosh.

For me, photography runs deep. It’s a feeling I can only describe as eyes on my heart. The excitement I get from the light assisting in any photoshoot is up there with winning the lottery. I could not wait to come home and edit this shoot then send it to HQ. 🥹

Being the photographer for them feels like a dream to me too. When I first met up with Jess I could feel her excitement and passion bursting to get this going and it felt so similar to when I first moved to Hertford all I saw was beauty. If you know me you know this and I was constantly taking photos- of Hartham, of hanging baskets, of shadows, reflections in puddles, all around the town. It’s how I got into photography in the first place, I bought a Canon camera and joined a photography club in Welwyn.
Mix that with my love of connecting with people and here is how the birth of a new hobby and passion manifested into this job of dreams.

Working for Jess and George has been an awe moment for me. Their belief in this magazine comes from their deep roots here in Hertford and the how much of it is the people. It has been an absolute honour to be able to help them by creating the images that show you what they see.

Gosh, woke up feeling grateful, again, for this life.

Meet Emma and her gorgeously colour detailed art studio on Folly Island in Hertford…

The space is filled with all kinds textures and strings and paints and fabrics and magical creations from herself and her students. It’s full of vibrancy and a passion and deep love for inspiring creativity and imagination.
I’ve known Emma for awhile and ILHerSM and seeing her grow from her workshops at home to hosting them at The Mill House to now her own colour popping studio has been so incredible to watch as her passion plays a HUGE PART in her growth.

If you’re in Hertford or surrounding areas and are looking for some amazing art workshops for your children then I 100 percent encourage to check her out.
She is literally a human rainbow 🌈

Finally getting around to sharing this absolutely amazing shoot from the production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory from Haileybury last month. These kids are incredible and it’s been such an honour and a pleasure working alongside them at this beautiful school.
I’ve been a contractor for them for coming up to two years and I’ve loved everything about it. What I love the most is it connects me so much with my camera and what I love doing (as much as massage!) which is meeting people and embracing the gift of connection through a calming and acknowledgement vibe of I SEE YOU 👀….

Hopefully sharing more of my work.

Sharing more photos from this magical wedding in September….

This wedding was such a dream of mine and I’m still buzzing with every photo I see. It gave me so much gratitude and love for a passion I have let myself struggle on and off with….I felt no doubt but completely inspired with the beauty and allowed myself to embrace everything I love about photographing people.
All the moments in between the big stuff. The beauty of nothing and everything. The story. The smiles. The light. All of it….
