A grand prep at ✨

I’ll always have a soft spot for this place - I actually got married here and had my own prep photos in these rooms.

The light is beautiful, the staircase is iconic, and the whole hotel just feels a little bit special in the morning.

Morning prep isn’t something you have to include in your wedding photography, but it’s often where some of the loveliest moments happen 🥰 The calm before the day begins, laughter with your people, and those first emotional reactions when everything suddenly feels a bit real.

One last post for the records (promise!).

Seeing my photos and my name on the BBC this week honestly felt a little surreal.

It probably sounds silly, but it also felt like a quiet little sign that I’m on the right path, doing what I love.

My mum (and Nan) would have been so proud to see my name there 🥹…and little me is too 🥲 and my boys shouting at the TV saying ‘that’s mummy’s photos’!

The Brighton wedding you may have seen doing the rounds this week 🤓🤩✨

Never in a million years did I think this sweet, intimate micro wedding would end up all over the BBC News!

Chloe and George booked me last year. They were planning their main wedding in France but wanted to hold their legal ceremony at Brighton Town Hall so George’s grandparents could be there too. You know I’m a sucker for nostalgia.

In one of those lovely little full-circle moments, Pops grew up in Henfield, where I now live with my own family - and I’m originally from Essex myself!

Sometimes the smallest weddings carry the biggest stories ✨It’s what I LOVE about this job.

I got carried away (sorry, not sorry).

Each image holds a story, a moment you might have forgotten. Obviously these are my memories too, which is always such an honour.

Some stories aren’t mine to tell
(I’m a professional secret keeper, after all).

But one day, these will take you straight back to how it felt ✨

And that’s the whole point. Wedding galleries are mostly made up of different memory stirrers, and I love it.

NEWBORN AT HOME ✨

Sharing some lovely images from winter of this gorgeous Newborn at Home 🥰

These are lovely slow sessions, in your own home where you feel most comfortable, can relax, take breaks and go at your own pace. I capture all the little details plus your family images, plus each parent with baby, siblings and anyone who is in the house! Be that wider family or furry siblings.

I have an active up to date DBS certificate, and was a teacher for 16 years. I also have two boys myself (a little bigger now!), so you know you are in safe ‘Mum’ hands.
