Travel Photographer & Visual Storyteller I am not a professional photographer, and by that, I mean Photography is not my paid occupation.

It is, however, my passion. I grew up in a family who relied on Photography as a source of income. My late parents owned a photography shop in a rural town in Malaysia. My father would travel to villages to take photographs of people, and developed the film himself in a little darkroom at the back of our shop. As soon as I was able to sit on my own, I was allowed to accompany him while he worked i

n this “Magic Room”. I remember feeling absolutely fascinated when faces miraculously appeared on the pieces of paper my father had soaked in some foul-smelling chemical. He, in turn, had taken pleasure in my pure delight and thousands of questions. As one who was brought up in such an environment, you might say that Photography is in my blood. Although many of the images here may seemed to have been captured spontaneously, in actual fact, a lot would have happened before they were taken. In those few seconds before I clicked my camera, I would have used my head, my eyes and most importantly, my heart, in making decisions on how and when to freeze those crucial moments, before turning them into lasting memories…

This Page is created to showcase some of these memories. I have published a book which will tells the “stories” behind some of the images I have captured over the years. 2023 has been a whirlwind year of travel adventures for us. Despite the demanding nature of my husband’s medical practice at our local hospital, we managed to explore 13 remarkable countries, weaving our journeys around his work schedule.⁠

I believe that our independent approach to travel has profoundly shaped me as a person. This immersive experience has fostered within me a greater sense of humility, tolerance, patience, and empathy. My judgment has softened, replaced by a deeper understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives. ⁠

The list of personal growth feels truly endless and I am beyond grateful to have evolved into a better being through these priceless experiences.⁠

I am looking forward to more new experiences in 2024, and I pray that we will be healthy and able to fulfil all our planned journeys.⁠
