Morning everyone…

Bit of a ‘photo dump’ from the last few months of travel / shooting :-)

The most recent couple of photography ‘seasons’ have been a lot of fun and exploration as ever - I’ve been into the Julian Alps of Slovenia via Northern Italy, and spent a few days exploring the Triglav National Park - beautiful places.

The Lakes back at home were my next stop for a week - hard to beat in the Autumn if the weather plays ball!

Winter this year was focused around a different kind of experience - the mountains normally call me pretty loudly when the snow comes to Europe, but this season I headed north into Finland - I was fortunate enough to catch an extreme week of weather - good snow, hoar frosts for 4 -5 days and temperatures down to about -27 degrees at one point. The conditions were ace for photos and getting the chance to explore the Finnish landscape right on the border with Russia was an unforgettable experience. The phenomenon of polar night, and the light which comes with that was truly mesmerising at times.

Hope you enjoy the photos and life is being kind to you - i’ll be back sometime with another update from wherever I end up next !

Check out my website for full sets of photos - links are in the bio of my page here.

Morning everyone - I hope your year has started well.

Adding a few works from my winter photography collection - I've travelled to Slovenia, Italy, The Lakes and the Hebrides in the last 2-3 months - all exceptionally beautiful parts of the world.

I enjoyed the deep winter of Slovenia and the Alps this year, and the coastal scenes with wild weather in the Hebrides was quite something too! When time and conditions have permitted I've also been out at home as much as possible.

Over the winter I've been busy re-building my collection of prints for sale. I'll be publishing more regular work from that collection over the next little while so stay tuned for those .

In the meantime if you'd like to see both the full set of my winter images, and the new work in my store, here's the link :

Enjoy the images, and have a great Sunday :-) x

Evening my friends...

Dropping a post of my autumnal work this evening. It's been another lovely season - a lot of hard work to put together a collection of images due to the challenging UK weather, but travel based endeavour did yield results i'm pretty happy with - here's a few of said outcomes.

This season has been a good reminder that you have to dig deep, and do what is needed to achieve in life sometimes, half measures avail very little.

I've also been busy with a bit of a re-fit of my website, some layout changes, performance improvements and some curation of the galleries to leave just the work I'm most happy with online.

That's also been a wonderful opportunity to reflect that I've worked very hard at my dream of becoming a half decent photographer over the last few years. I still feel like there is more progress I can / will make, and I'll make the sacrifices I need to in order to attain my goal. Intention is nothing without action.

The gallery for my latest collection is here on the re-vamped site - I hope you can find a few minutes to take a look and enjoy:

Morning ...

I hope it's been a good summer for you.

I had planned a photography hiatus for this summer period - I moved into a new house a while back, and wanted some time to sort the garden area. However....

A certain volcanic eruption happened, and the lure of following my dreams became too much to resist! A private flight in a Cessna aircraft over the top of the eruption site at sunset, and a 20k round trip overnight hike to get within 250m of the crater were absolute bucket list fulfilment experiences. I'm so glad that I listened to my instincts, did what was right for me, and made the journey to Iceland :-)

I also got to spend a little time in the interior areas of Iceland which is pretty wild, and the occasional shoots I did at home (in-between the garden renovation project) yielded a couple of nice images too.

Now, onto the cooler months, my favourite times of the year - I'm so looking forward to Autumn, and with a bit of luck, some snowy madness somewhere in the world in winter.

Hello everyone - I hope you're enjoying the fabulous summer weather here in the UK ( iff that’s where you are from)….

I remembered that I’d not posted a Spring update to my page here - time to rectify that !

I was away travelling for a large part of Spring. My work enables me to be location independent, and I’m very fortunate to have a well equipped camper that I can work from, and live in very comfortably - hugely blessed in that respect.

So, the travels - I headed through Hampshire, and Dorset, some of the best UK locations for woodland photography in spring. After a few days, and successful shoots, it was onto Wales for a bit - I love the Pembroke coast. After that I was time for the main leg of the Spring tour - Ireland.

I’ve toured Ireland a couple of times previously - the landscape there is utterly beautiful - diverse, unspoiled and wild - just my kinda place. I literally roamed from place to place for a big chunk of May, exploring the coastline, ocean, towering cliffs, amazing lakes, and hills. Honestly, I could have stayed until next May! ( That’s another episode ;-) )

So, here’s a good few of my fave encounters with Mother Nature this spring -

Hello!

Time for me to post some images..

It's been an interesting winter for sure.. Mostly, I spent my 'season' in Iceland shooting a country that is fascinating, incredible and quite brutal from a weather and geology perspective.

Many people say it's a photographer's dream - I have to agree - the variety and extremeness of the terrain and weather patterns make it so dynamic. Highlights were the Vatnajokull Glacier exploration and of course the Aurora experiences which were just amazing.

I did some shooting close to home as well, so there are a few of those images in my collection for winter.

Here's a few of my faves, and if you want a look at the whole collection - it's here :

Thanks loads for taking a look - hope you enjoy a few of them...

Hello all...

So, time for my quarterly update on how the latest season has played out for me photographically…

Autumn is always such a beautiful time, and it’s late this year in the UK for sure - there is still some colour in the trees and I’m still heading out when the weather is not too shocking to shoot.

That said, the last couple of months have been pretty fruitful - I’ve been to Italy and Iceland, as well as exploring ‘home’ looking for beautiful moments to freeze in time with the camera. I’ve seen some mountains, oceans, aurora, other worldly geothermal valleys, forests waterfalls, rivers and a plethora of autumnal colour - hugely grateful to be so blessed by Nature - it helps to nourish my soul for sure..

Here’s a few of my fave results in the last little while - if you’d like to see the full set - please head to my website and check out my latest Season collection gallery :

Thanks so much for taking a look - hope you enjoy them..

Hello all,

Have just enjoyed a wonderful few days in Northern Italy, came home with some images am pretty happy with.

While there I was reflecting on the glorious landscape, and how much of it I've actually photographed in the last 5 years.

I decided it would be a good idea to create an image collection of my favourite moments from the mountains of the Dolomites.

So here's some of that collection.

I've uploaded the full set to my website :

https://mark-price.photography/imageGalleries/ricordi-ditalia/

Hope you enjoy them as much as I've enjoyed creating the memories :-)

Hey - hope it's been a good Spring!

As always been some time since I dropped some work onto my page here - Spring was fun - I managed some shooting along the South West Coast of the UK - it's a beautiful time of year.

I love the season transitions as they always remind me that change can be a good thing...

Here's my fave shots of the adventures I managed - there's a full gallery on the website :

Be good...
