Dorothy and John’s intimate family wedding is now on the website. Southport Town Hall and Mill Heights Windmill for their wedding reception complete with private chef.

Dorothy and John's intimate wedding at Southport Town Hall and Wedding Reception at Windmill Farm, Burscough near Ormskirk. One of my more unusual wedding venues and it was fantastic with such a lovely couple and their family.

Wedding guests doing wedding guest things. There’s something about the wedding breakfast where everyone just relaxes.

Ties get loosened. Heels come off under the table. Someone’s already halfway through a story they probably shouldn’t be telling. Kids are climbing on chairs and running around. Glasses are clinking. Laughter’s bouncing off the walls.

These are the bits I love.

No posing. No staging. Just real moments happening in real time. The in-between stuff that couples don’t always see on the day but end up loving the most afterwards.

As a documentary wedding photographer, this is where I quietly blend in and let it all unfold. Genuine reactions. Natural expressions. Proper belly laughs. The kind of images that take you straight back to how it actually felt.

Wedding guests doing wedding guest things. And me watching, ready for all those moments. 📸✨

Southport Town Hall for your ceremony. Genuine moments, lots of natural light, and a room full of history is a perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs. It’s elegant, classical and full of character, which makes it perfect for a relaxed, meaningful wedding ceremony. I love photographing weddings here because it gives couples space to breathe, be themselves, and actually enjoy the moment. Perfect for me to capture your vows.
