When I found out I was pregnant last November I was absolutely elated! And I had this vision of how it would all go from pregnancy - meeting friends for coffees, pregnancy classes and a baby moon through to the first months.... everyone meeting her, going to baby classes etc....
None of that happened. Instead I was locked up in the house alone with a 2 year old, which let me tell you was flipping hard work! - Lee was working from home so I wasn’t totally alone but my god did it feel like it.
No one got to see my bump, or feel her move, no naps or alone time to rest, no shopping trips , no in person baby shower, all appointments by myself even the trips to triage... alone.
And now no baby groups or coffee dates like I imagined. It’s been hard splitting my time between the kids so they both get some quality 1:1 time.
But now Little L goes to my mother in laws and nursery a few times a week, it gives Little C and myself some time together.
We were recently gifted this amazing box from which is full of fab products to help with little one’s development.
We spent a little while going through it all & it was so lovely to spend some quality time together, it really helped our bond and knowing that it was aiding in her development took away some of that mum guilt!!
Big love to all the mamas who had/having lock down babies ♥️
