I can’t believe I haven’t shared photos from this epic trip yet.

Back in September, I joined on an expedition with , starting in Nuuk, Greenland and sailing through the Northwest Passage.

In short: I loved it.
In long: I loved Greenland’s colourful houses which locals welcome you into for kaffemilk, the way the sun hits the ice during sunrise and sunset, the sled dogs roaming on nearby islands during the summer months, the waves crashing against the bedroom windows at night, zodiac rides, landings cancelled because of polar bears on the shoreline, watching locals compete in finger pulling, 1am Northern Lights tannoy alerts, going down in a submarine (a submarineforgoodnesssakewhoevenami). And that’s before I even get started on describing the Viking Octantis!

I love a winter wedding and Megan and Charlie’s beautiful day did not disappoint. Christmas lights, candles, dark rooms, dark green bridesmaid dresses and fires. Plus I was given a massive pizza for dinner - not a bad day!

There are lots of good people out there! Photos taken for last weekend to accompany the story about the cleanup effort on Camber Sands after the biobead spill. Heartwarming to see so many volunteers give up their weekends, particularly nice to see so many children and great to meet and Roy Beal from who travelled to Sussex with their beach vacuum machine (that is not noo-noo). A break from weddings on my page. This was pretty cool…over the summer I went down to the tank rooms in the basement of the to see (and smell) some of the items in the public and hidden collections. These photos were taken for and are now in the BBC’s . The brilliant - who was able to name all of these creatures - has written a really interesting article about our behind the scenes tour.

A ceremony in a tiny church in the middle of a marsh (and surrounded by sheep), a stop-off at the beach for a swim in the sea and a reception at the bride’s childhood home…perfection!

Lucy and Ferg got married in Hastings register office and then took an open top bus along the seafront to a party on the rooftop…and it was pretty cool! Tears, good music, some very competitive co****le and close to home so I didn’t have to drive - 10/10 wedding!

Georgia and Rob got married in July and it was excellent!
They have been together since school and the joy that people felt for them was palpable. They walked down the aisle together (which I love), speeches were excellent, flowers were amazing and the cake was my favourite of the year!
