I have definitely been inspired to up my garden game since photographing such beautiful open spaces for Selby Landscapes

I love how more and more, we're treating our gardens as additional rooms of the house, and not just a sea of grass, or as we have at the moment, dusty scrub land 😆

With imaginative planting, we can work with the seasons and create year-round colour within spaces that are both interesting to look at and are calming places to sit, with a glass of something chilled, if you fancy.

This quaint garden was in central Bath, and every square foot has been thought about and given a purpose.

You may remember seeing a reel that included me snapping this handsome lot. It's been a while since then, I know, but here are a few of the shots from that day.

I love photographing the end product for these guys, their beautiful kitchens, so having the opportunity to capture the talented team behind those bespoke designs was a real pleasure.

We wanted these portraits to feel relaxed and full of personality (because that's exactly what the team is like), so there was plenty of laughter (and bacon sandwiches), a bit of posing with cabinet doors, and a chance to catch everyone doing what they do best.

It's always nice to put faces to the craftsmanship. After all, every stunning kitchen starts with skilled people who genuinely care about what they create.

Thanks to the brilliant team at CHARTER WALK KITCHENS for being such good sports in front of the camera!

Some homes just get the balance exactly right.

From the moment I walked through the door, I loved how this beautiful period home had retained so much of its original character, while embracing a contemporary aesthetic that felt completely at home. Original stained glass, elegant staircases and classic architectural details sit effortlessly alongside bold pops of colour, statement furniture and beautifully considered design choices.

It's a reminder that you don't have to choose between old and new. When it's done well, the two complement each other perfectly, creating a home that's full of personality, warmth and timeless style.

This was an absolute pleasure to photograph.

I defy anyone not to be wowed by this utterly stunning garden.

Designed to sit effortlessly within the surrounding countryside, just outside Bath, every element has been carefully considered, from the naturalistic planting and layered terraces to the elegant pool, outdoor kitchen and breathtaking views beyond.

It's one of those projects where every turn reveals another beautiful composition.

It was a real pleasure to photograph this exceptional garden for Selby Landscapes, whose craftsmanship and attention to detail have created an outdoor space that's every bit as impressive as the home it surrounds.

This is a project I'd love to revisit and photograph during the golden hour, but considering that's optimum gin-on-the-terrace time right now, I think I'd be getting in the way 😄

I love it when the integrity of a period property has been preserved, even when what was once a single grand home has been thoughtfully divided into individual wings.

You really get a sense of what this magnificent manor house would have been like in its heyday. It's every bit as majestic and full of character today, with original period features at every turn.

They just don't build them like this anymore!

This beautiful house was a case of 'I want your style'

It's been so beautifully decorated from top to toe, and filled with gorgeous pieces of furniture. The style of this house, coupled with this amazing weather almost makes you feel as though you've been transported overseas to somewhere like The Hamptons. Not that I've ever been to The Hamptons but this is how I imagine houses here might look!

Either way, it's a stunning home and was a pleasure to photograph.

A few weeks ago, we were starting to forget what the sun looked, and felt like!

All that wet weather and changeable forecasts made for challenging circumstances when it came to booking photoshoots.

Just when I thought we were in for a dry, albeit overcast day, for this shoot at Harts Yard in Farnham, the heavens opened!

Not ideal conditions when part of your shoot involves multiple roof terraces!

Anyway, we persevered, rebooking the exterior shots for a more beautiful sunny day.

This brand-new development in the centre of Farnham is fantastic. It's been imaginatively thought out and each home is unique. I also love that the developer, Raw Element, has used so many reclaimed bricks from the previous site to create some of these homes.

A big thank you to and Raw Element for all their help in dressing each of the properties, running around in the rain with all that furniture can't have been fun!
