The majority of my couples say the same thing before having their photos taken:
“We don’t like having our photo taken”
“We don’t like to be posed”
“We don’t want to feel uncomfortable”
There are more, but these are popular and I find that most couples are like this.
Thankfully, my wedding photography does not require couples to pose or do anything uncomfortable.
Every couple is different. So all I expect from you is to do one of the following:
Eye contact
Hold hands
Kiss
Hug
Smile
That’s it. Easy right?
The only direction I give couples is to walk in a certain direction or stand in front of a nice background. The romantic stuff is down to you.
I will never tell you when to kiss.
