For most people standing in front of the camera means leaving their comfort zone.
We often are very critical to ourself, the thought of not being in control and trusting your photographer to lead the session without seeing immediate results can be intimidating too.
What could help?
First of all - make sure you love the work of photographer you are booking your session with, second - don’t be afraid to ask for gentle guidance, if you have any specific ideas share them with your photographer. Also you can always book a shorter session as a little warm-up first.
On the day of the session just try to have fun, it’s not any kind of the test and I promise you, your photographer also want you to capture you in the best possible way ❤️

You will need 1 beautiful location, people carefully selected by your heart, generous amount of best, happy moments, 1kg* of good mood, a few „I’m so lucky” thoughts, a bottle of your kids giggles, a pinch of chaos (careful! Your kiddo will try to add much more 😂 embrace it!) also add the sunshine if you are graced by weather gods 😎
Mix it well ✨ For the best results add professional for assistance ❤️

HAPPY WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK ❤️
This year theme is „Prioritise Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support System”.

As I’m not very good with words, I will take the opportunity and share few words from a lovely Mum that took part in this year breastfeeding session ❤️

“We wouldn’t be at this point without Daddy and all he does for us. He is a massive part of the success for our feeding journey. What a team.”

When I think about this year’s World Breastfeeding Week theme — Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works — I keep coming back to that sentence. Because for me, “what worked” wasn’t perfection. It wasn’t exclusive breastfeeding. It was the people who quietly made it possible for me to keep going.

Support isn’t just lactation consultants or healthcare professionals, although both can make an enormous difference. It’s also the partner who takes the baby so you can sleep. The person who quietly makes dinner without asking. The friend who listens without trying to solve everything. The healthcare professional who notices the tears before they notice the scales. The person who remembers that you’re healing too. These are the things that strengthen breastfeeding because they strengthen the mother.

From myself I can just add that Breast Buddies - Teesside Breastfeeding Support Facebook group kept me going especially when my daughter was over a year and I felt understood and motivated to keep going until we were both ready to stop our milky journey 🥹
