So the train from Oban to Glasgow operated by Scotrail was delayed arriving into Glasgow Queen Street Station after the connecting train to Edinburgh had left. The next train got me to Edinburgh after the train I had ticket for to York (the London Kings Cross train) so got a free replacement reserved seat in 1st class on the fast train only stops at Newcastle before York.

So I saw Puffins with sand eels but circumstances prevented me from getting a photo. So I asked my friend Gemini to help...
