Ah, the big ONE 🎂
It doesn’t feel long ago at all, in fact it feels like yesterday that my babies were about to turn one 🤍
That first year felt so long at the time. Every single month brought something different. New routines, new challenges, new discoveries. I was learning them, but I was also learning myself. Learning how to be a mum
I remember wanting to celebrate that first birthday not just because they were turning one, but because I had made it through my first year of motherhood too. A whole year of love, exhaustion, growth, worry, joy and figuring it all out as I went along
And now, somehow, in what feels like the blink of an eye, they are both teenagers
It’s such a bittersweet feeling watching time move so quickly. You spend so long in the thick of those early days thinking the sleepless nights and endless feeds will last forever, but one day you realise they were only a tiny chapter
That’s why photographs matter so much to me. Because when the years pass faster than you ever imagined, memories become everything 🤍
