D+B bumped into the Edgbaston Village market during their couple portraits. It created a beautiful backdrop!

They got married at Birmingham Register Office with a sweet reception after at The Blue Piano. Lovely day for everyone!

Birmingham City Centre weddings… so gorgeous!

K+R’s super cute small wedding was a beaut. Their ceremony was at Hyatt Regency Birmingham, with a portrait session around the older buildings in the city centre and a family meal at Varanasi Restaurant.

Worried about rain on your wedding day? Don’t be! It’s the UK, there is no guarantee on weather ever. Make sure you have a clear or white umbrella nearby and enjoy the watercolour-like painterly feel it gives to the background (I also find couples tend to snuggle up closer when it’s rainy). Or celebrate with a beer! As your photographer, it’s my job to find the perfect spots for images even when wet.

B+L got married at and yes, it did rain. It was also sunny and exciting and fun.

Just a quick preview from today’s city wedding.
Might be a little excited about these (finally got a bride in a suit!!) and how gorgeous do they look?

C+M had a portrait session in Birmingham City Centre before their wedding at (it’s not traditional, but having the photos first can be quite relaxing, and they were able to head off for lunch with their guests straight after instead of disappearing off for a while!).

Happy Anniversary R+B!!

Can’t believe it’s been a whole year since this beautiful wedding under the Provençal sunshine.

Gorgeous couple, gorgeous venue, gorgeous wedding!

Who’s having a destination wedding? I’m definitely ready for another one (if it helps, I’m fluent in Spanish and hold an EU passport as well as my British one!).

A full belly laugh in sunny May.

A gorgeous wedding at Hogarth’s Stone Manor for J+R. I’m a sucker for outdoor ceremonies when possible (I know it’s the UK and sometimes/always very rainy).

I do love a May wedding (it’s somehow one of my busiest months most years), but looking forward to all the June ones starting next week! There might be a white bridal trouser suit coming my way and that’s making me happy dance!

Warm evenings and big strawberry cakes.

R+B’s gorgeous Provence wedding had both. What a day is was! Gorgeous venue, gorgeous people and the most scrumptious dessert table.
