About Me

I have been in love with photography, and photographing people in particular, since, as a child, I picked up my Dad’s camera. To me the essence of portrait photography is to capture the spirit and emotion of a person on their journey through life. I passionately believe that the most treasured and memorable family and portrait photographs are created in a relaxed, familiar and natural en

vironment, whether that’s in your home, your garden or on your favourite walk. The setting and the background are a vitally important part 0f the moment, as the meaning and relevance to you, will never be lost. When photographing children, I keenly encourage the inclusion of their favourite toys as these too add to the magic of the shoot and will spark wonderful memories in years to come.
