This week is Maternal Mental Health Week.
I am sharing the image I created for a recent competition which I called ‘Her Body, Their choice’ to highlight my observations that less and less of the mums I meet seem to have experienced the birth they had hoped for.
Interventions seem to be becoming the norm and I see the trauma this can leave many mums with.

I learnt some sad news this morning that this beautiful boy crossed the rainbow bridge last week. 🌈
After 14 years of happiness, his lovely mum is obviously heartbroken but also really pleased they made the time to come and see me for some photos.
RIP Homer - I will so miss you bounding up to me for treats 🥺🐾
